Privacy Policy
This explains what Airfry.now collects and why. The short version: we don't sell your personal information, you don't need an account to read the Site, and if you do create one you can delete it, along with everything tied to it, whenever you like.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the Site is used — which recipes get read, roughly where visitors come from, and how people move around. GA4 sets cookies and collects usage data such as your approximate location (from your IP address, which Google anonymizes), device and browser type, the pages you view, and the link that referred you. We use it to decide what to write and how to improve the Site, not to identify you.
You can opt out through your browser settings, a cookie-blocking extension, or Google's own opt-out tools. Google's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy.
Your account
If you create an account, we store what's needed to run it: your email address, an optional display name, and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares when you approve it. As you use the Site we also keep the recipes you save, the ratings you leave, and the comments you post, so your recipe book and contributions are there when you return.
If you set a password, we store it only as a salted hash — never as plain text, and never in a form we can read. We don't collect or store payment details, because the Site is free.
Email we send you
We use Resend, an email delivery service, to send the transactional messages your account needs — verifying your email address and helping you reset your password. These go to the address on your account; we don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't send promotional email unless you explicitly opt in to one.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, our redirect records that the click happened (for our own aggregate reporting) and sends you to the retailer (for example, Amazon), who may set their own cookies to credit a purchase. Our affiliate disclosure covers how that works.
Deleting your account
You're in control of your data. From your account settings you can update your email or display name, and you can delete your account outright. Deleting it permanently removes your profile, your saved recipes, your ratings, and your comments from the Site. If you'd rather we handle it, email [email protected] and we'll take care of it.
Where this applies
Airfry.now is aimed at visitors in the United States, and this policy is written with US practice in mind. Questions about your data? Email [email protected].
